SIX MORE OFF THE BOARD

It has been a busy week for the 2018 class around the sunshine state with 6 more players making their college decisions, including 5 now headed to high major programs.

Our #9 ranked prospect Elijah Weaver is headed west as the 6'4 point guard made a pledge to USC and Head Coach Andy Enfield. Weaver chose the Trojans over Ohio State, Florida and Oklahoma State.

IMG Academy's Darius Days will play in the SEC after a commitment to LSU. The 6'7 forward averaged nearly 19 points per game for The Rock School last season before transferring to IMG. Days chose the Tigers over North Carolina and a handful of other high major programs.

Skilled, Serbian big man Filip Petrusev is still not a household name in Florida basketball circles but that should change this season at Montverde Academy. The 6'11 senior is headed to Gonzaga after a commitment over the weekend.

Duncan Demuth became the first member of Head Coach Mike Boynton's 2018 recruiting class after a commitment to Oklahoma State. The skilled, 6'8 forward was a first team All-Pinellas County selection last season.

The first member of the 2020 class to make their college decision is high scoring lead guard Naseem Khaalid who is headed to Florida State. Our #3 ranked prospect in the sophomore class averaged over 18 points per game and was an All-Area selection for First Coast last season.

TaylorMade Academy's Kristian Lafayette is head to Louisiana-Lafayette. The highly skilled, stretch 4 man from Michigan should be one of the leading scorers for the Pensacola area post-graduate program.
