Southwest Miami's Chris Murray (pictured) is headed to Embry Riddle after making a verbal commitment to Head Coach Steve Ridder and the Eagles. The 6'6, versatile forward averaged 12 points and 8 rebounds per game last season while earning All-Dade County honors.
One of the most popular names with college coaches during July was West Orange guard KJ Simon. The athletic, 6'3 guard made his decision yesterday and is headed to Troy University. Simon starred in the summer with Nike South Beach.
IMG Academy's Eric Ayala will head back north after the Wilmington, DE native announced his commitment to Maryland. The 6'5 post-graduate will combine with Orlando native Anfernee Simons to create one of the top backcourts in the country.
Clearwater Academy's Rey Idowu is headed to Illinois State after committing to the Redbirds last week. The athletic, hard playing, 6'8 center is a graduate of Holy Trinity in Melbourne and seems to be constantly improving during a post-grad year with Head Coach Aaron Holmes.
