SIX COMPETE AT USAB MINICAMP

Six Florida prospects traveled to Colorado Springs over the weekend for USA Basketball's Junior National Team Mini Camp. While 2018 prospects Nassir Little (Orlando Christian Prep), Emmitt Williams (Oak Ridge) and Anfernee Simons (IMG Academy) were trying to earn a spot on this year's Nike Hoop Summit team, underclassmen Vernon Carey (University School), Scottie Barnes (University School) and Dudley Blackwell (Westminster Academy) were all making an impression to be selected for next summer's U17 National Team that will compete in Argentina at the FIBA World Cup. Both Carey and Barnes were part of last summer's U16 National Team who won the gold medal at the FIBA Americas Championship.
