COMMITMENT CATCH UP

The state's top ranked senior made his college decision last week as well as a third member of the 2018 class.

Immediately following the announcement that Duke freshman Frank Jackson will remain in the NBA Draft, IMG Academy point guard Trevon Duval made a pledge to the Blue Devils. The nation's top ranked lead guard the the #1 player in our FH100, will likely be handed the ball his first day on campus by Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski. Duval led the Ascenders to a top 10 national ranking this season while earning a spot in Dick's Nationals.

First Team All-Polk County selection Dorian James came off the board early to the University of North Florida. James averaged 15.8 point and 9.6 rebounds per game last season for Coach Tyrone Woodside. The 6'7 versatile forward has played this spring with E1T1 Elite.

Florida Prep's Ndiaga Diop committed to Miami Dade College on Monday. The 6'7 forward helped the Falcons reach the 2A title game for Head Coach Julius Reid.

Brothers Montre and Montreal Edwards have signed with Thomas University. The First Team All-Big Bend Selections helped Head Coach Andy Colville win another District Championship last season.

Mosely senior Jacorian Calloway signed with Daytona State following a senior season that saw the 6'3 wing average over 23 points and 6 rebounds per game.
