FALL EVENT PREVIEWS

Fall exposure events have become increasingly popular around the state over the past 10 years. Nearly every weekend during the fall, prospects gather to be seen by regional and national scouting services as well as Division II, III, NAIA and Junior College coaches. Here is a look at the upcoming schedule for the fall of 2016.

 

Nike Premier Exposure Camp

September 10 - Altamonte Springs

 

The Nike Premier Exposure Camp presented by E1T1 moves from Tampa to Central Florida this year and will have national scouts from Rivals.com and Hoop Seen on hand to watch some of the state's top players.

 

Prep Hoops Top 250

September 17 - Tavares

 

Jack LeGwin and his Prep Hoops Florida staff bring a new event to the state this fall. The Prep Hoops Top 250 hosted at the Big House will be covered extensively by the Prep Hoops network and reports will be distributed to hundreds of college coaches. 

 

Best of the Best Florida Showcase

September 17-18 - Altamonte Springs

 

D3 MOAM Director Marcus McGee hosts his two day event in Central Florida with upperclassmen competing on Saturday followed by underclassmen on Sunday. The majority of the state's top scouts will be on hand for all the action.  

 

Dodge Florida Shootout

September 24 - St. Petersburg

 

The state's longest running fall event returns to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg. In recent years, Florida Elite has taken over the operation of this tradition rich showcase.

 

THEworkout

September 24 - Sarasota

 

One of the state's original exposure events, THEworkout presented by Nike Team Florida is regularly attended by a handful of national scouts as well as the state's top evaluators. 80 players on two courts makes for optimal exposure opportunities.

 

The Breakdown Showcase

September 25 - Tampa

 

Bay Area Hoops returns to the University of Tampa for their 5th annual fall event. Regional scouts will be in attendance to watch 80 of the area's top prospects. 

 

Florida Fall Festival

October 8-9 - Orlando

 

The state's largest event each fall, Scott Golden and his staff will host nearly 500 players competing in both an individual and team event  in front of plenty of national and regional scouts.
